What was the highlight of BG Portinatx Beach Club Hotel
It's not for everyone, but if convenience is your thing this is good.
The room was cool, the view was good. The beach was nice, the sea was lovely. Well located for an easy walk to Portinatx.
Cockroaches in room (alive and dead). Some buffet food was poor. Cheap wine dressed up as quite expensive. LOTS of chlorine in the pools. They have a lovely bar overlooking the sea which would be perfect for a drink at sunset, but it closes at 5. This is nuts. If you are in room 243 (and any others on that corridor) you will get all those staying in the hotel walking about above you at the buffet scraping chairs on the floor just above your head twice a day (dinner and breakfast) for several hours, which is sub-optimal.

Totally recommend!
Great Layout since Most rooms habe sea view, the private beach is great and there’s a lot to discover in the hotel property. Free Pilates/ yoga classes included!
The buffet for breakfast/ Dinner looked a bit better than it tasted but the price was okay

What was the highlight of BG Portinatx Beach Club Hotel
Good value for money
We weren’t sure what to expect due to mixed reviews but were positively surprised by the hotel. The (huge) property is really beautiful with pools, plants, stunning sea view and a lovely private beach. We liked the possibility to use a small gym for excercise. Breakfast was good. Only a short walk (1 km) to nice restaurants and public beaches of Portinatx.
We would have appreciated more info on the many daily activities (18+) they offer from kayanking to archery and zumba to yoga, which we only noticed at our second day. Dinner buffet was cheap and the selection quite vast, but one time there was enough for us.

Smashing
Clean comfy en suite rooms. Extensive grounds including a small beach. Massive breakfast selection, buffet style. Same buffet style for evening meal should you choose it. Great and friendly staff.
A little out of the way of Portinax itself. Only a 5min drive but a 27 min walk. Have a sat nav if you hire a car as it isn't well sign posted.
